Desh Dahiya

My financial life started on the Calcutta Stock Exchange trading floor in 1974.  It was a wonderful time – I was walking through a minefield blindfolded and had not hit a mine – it was all so easy to make money, till my luck ran out and it came via the first Oil Shock / Crash of 1977. I lost a small personal fortune and had to go looking for a 9 to 5 job.

End of a dream and a great lesson for the future. I am glad it happened when I was young and the shock absorbers were very strong.

The world’s greatest ever basket ball player Michael Jordan once said ‘I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed” and I have to agree because for me there is no harder lesson than losing your own money.

How does this help my clients?

I extend all my knowledge and experience (not just the pretty bits or baseless ‘theory’) to you, so you can avoid repeating any mistakes I’ve made or seen others make in the markets. Because when I hear you sharing your wealth story or strategies with me, in my head I get to relive my life and my mistakes, so I feel obligated to let you know where all the land mines are because I’ve “now” seen them!

All my years of reading, researching and gathering knowledge add up to save you time in doing the same and save you money because of the breadth of financial options I can open up to you.

My belief is if you are a ‘financial adviser” you are expected to have all this knowledge at your finger tips!

This is our mission - simple financial solutions for you, your family and your business, with no conflict of interest.
